Running blog

I usually want to find out a bit more about a race before giving it a go. There is usually loads of information and reviews about big popular road races, but sometimes you simply can’t find out anything about particular cross country courses, or running somewhere unusual. Managed about 25 miles over the week, including a decent 10 mile sunday run, even if this was slightly disrupted by David Walliams swimming up the Thames! Had a positive speed session with Charles on Tuesday. Felt fairly sluggish on the track but hopefully with…

Preparing for the OMM

On the 29th October, I’ll be embarking on my first OMM. Despite having competed in 5 previous Mountain Marathon, I get the feeling this is the big one.
