So, the first proper week of training having had August off through injury and holiday. Managed about 25 miles over the week, including a decent 10 mile sunday run, even if this was slightly disrupted by David Walliams swimming up the Thames!
Had a positive speed session with Charles on Tuesday. Felt fairly sluggish on the track but hopefully with a few consistent weeks training down there, things should speed up!
Felt very little in terms of ill effects on my knee tendon. I’m trying to ensure that I’m stretching correctly and thoroughly. Hoping to ramp up to about 30 miles this week. Also hoping to find a half marathon at the end of November with the aim of going sub 80mins in the new year.
